Woe to the citizens of this country,
Should the nations of this world
Ever decide that they’ve had enough
Of the abuse that our unruly government
Dishes out for their own enrichment—
Against our will and our Constitution,
And often under the cover of our
Impressive ignorance.
The nations are likely not to be
Compassionate with us—
Who have let our government
And its secret owners
Violate this world,
Pretending that it’s not really
Our responsibility what they do.
And if we are ruined and destitute
As a result of the blowback,
Who will help us then?
We shall finally be forced either
To help ourselves,
Or to do without—
The latter being our current strategy
Regarding the reformation of this
Government of tyrants and scoundrels.
