This world is tired
Of the lessons unlearned—
Still before us and signaling our shame
After all these centuries
Of stubborn neglect.
But the fact of the matter is that
Some have learned them indeed,
And are simply too few in number
To bring about wide-scaled reforms.
Of them, this world is not worthy.
And for them, the next was designed.
This world is tired.
The next world is not.
