It’s Rather Simple, Really

It’s rather simple, really.

Those who think a thing worthy
Will learn what they can of it
And still wish to learn more—
While the rest, having had their fill,
Will not.

And apart from the goodness of the thing,
There will always come alongside the learners
Those who find a twisted value merely
In being assumed to think it worthy.
