I’m currently reading In the Beginning: Compelling Evidence for Creation and the Flood (8th Edition) by Dr. Walter Brown.
Far from being a mere dogmatist, Brown objectively refutes common evolutionary theories for the origins of the earth and of its current geology, not by saying “The Bible says…”, but by showing scientific evidence that refutes those theories. Thence he proceeds to set forth a model for a global (Noah’s) flood that not only reshaped the surface of the earth, but also launch comets and asteroids into space, and slowed the earth’s rotation slightly.
I’m only about half way through, but so far, so good. It’s a massive work, so vetting it will be a huge task. I’ll write more when I finish it.
