“Constitutional”?

“Constitutional”?

America has lost its mind when it opines that what is “constitutional” or “unconstitutional” is defined by the Supreme Court instead of by the Constitution.  And I hear Democrats and Republicans alike spouting this utterly stupid idea.

This is no matter of opinion.  Rather, it is an indication that a great many people have absolutely NO CLUE what “rule of law” means.  The reason we write things down in laws, folks, is so that they are NOT left to the whims of those sitting in the seats of government at any given time.  Yet the way we BEHAVE is exactly the opposite—that the Constitution means whatever the court WANTS it to mean at any given point in time.  Could we possibly get any stupider?

It would not matter if a million consecutive Supreme Courts SAY that some certain governmental act is “constitutional”.  What matters is whether the Constitution says it’s constitutional.

Did an entire world full of people claiming that the world was flat make it so?

America has forgotten how to recognize a FACT—-and it doesn’t seem to find any problem or alarm in this.  What a woefully stupid and push-over nation we are.  And almost nobody cares, which simply goes to affirm my point.

And before you Republicans chime in about how awesome you are and what a smackdown you’re going to put on this (Obamacare) constitutional violation, please don’t write a word about it unless you are ALSO planning to have the Patriot Act repealed.  There is NO difference; both are patently unconstitutional.  Or is it somehow acceptable when your favorite party violates the Constitution?

Hypocrites.
