The Co-opting of the Churches

Here’s what you must understand: When a political/economic regime has the power to control….

  1. Hollywood
  2. The news media—print, internet, radio, and TV
  3. The healthcare industry
  4. College faculty
  5. World markets
  6. Big Tech
  7. Big Pharma
  8. The Federal Reserve
  9. The United States Government
  10. The 50 state governments
  11. The worldwide COVID-19 response

….there is NO WAY it’s not going to do its best to control as many churches as it can get its hands on. No way. Think of the power you’d yield if you controlled the churches—if you could slip in alongside their general business the sinister business of getting Americans to abandon certain realities and duties.

Imagine, for example, if you could train the whole lot that it is “unspiritual” to be very much involved in politics, and that it’s all a big distraction created by Satan. You’d create a whole class of freeloader citizens, who think that they live here for some greater purpose than to be responsible citizen-overseers of their own government—and that “all this is going to burn anyway”. You’d condition them to think that merely by being a “member” of the church, they are “letting their little light shine”, and that others in the society are seeing their loyalty to church, and may well become Christians themselves someday on account of the grand example set by the faithful members.

Never mind the fact that Jesus was the most honest, rational, and responsible person ever to walk this planet; you can get them to ignore all that part, and to take the view that their proper role in it all doesn’t require them to think, feel, decide, believe, and act like Jesus—but quite conversely, to celebrate themselves for just the OPPOSITE—-to slather “grace” upon themselves for their very FAILURES to be like Jesus—-to give themselves “faith” points for saying they’re “faithful” even when their lives only show the slightest traces of devotion. And devotion to WHAT, you might ask? Well, to church, of course—-which is for them a surrogate for the actual Jesus.

This is EXACTLY what I would do if I were the evil wizard behind the curtain. I’d use money to influence the denominations. I’d donate to them, and then suggest from time to time that I’d donate even more if only they would alter their messages and practices a bit here and there. And I’ve have them cater to the masses, rather than to the authentic follower of Jesus. And meanwhile, those who were authentic enough to COMPLAIN—–well, I’d teach them that the faithful thing for them to do about the corruption in the churches is to “stay and help fight for change”.

And most of them are foolish enough to believe it. So they stay and stay, even though they accomplish very little “change”—and none of it on a grand scale. And I’d stroke them for this—for their deep “faith” and “endurance” and such—-and I’d tell them “If only the rest of the congregants were like you!” And we’d both shake our heads together at the sad state of things.

How is it that the leader himself violently disrupted the corrupt economic system of the Temple and drove people out with a whip while overturning their tables—and yet those today who supposedly follow this divine man, will not themselves learn to emulate him in such things?

They are taught that the “godly” thing to do is to stuff it—to keep it to themselves—to go along to get along—to “not cause anyone to stumble”—-to “not cause anybody to struggle with his faith”.

Faith is SUPPOSED to be a struggle, folks. And a great deal of it has to do with rightly dividing truth and falsehood, good and bad, right and wrong, diligence and negligence.

So very many of the churches have undertaken to have those struggles FOR you—in your stead. They’ll sort it all out for you and tell you a few bullet points of “What We Believe” so that you don’t have to do anything, but to keep coming (with those tithes and offerings). Their job is to keep you busy and distracted—to keep you sated and off-task from your rightful role as responsible citizen-overseers of this country—and of your states, counties, and cities.

And they are doing a FANTASTIC job of this!

Even among those Christians who have the GREATEST reputations among their peers for faith and devotion to God, there are far too many who are absent in the public forum when politics is the subject. They’ll pick and choose. Perhaps they try to become champions against abortion or human trafficking, for example, but they’re absent in discussion about the daily grind of common corruption in government.

They’ll tell you that “Facebook isn’t the place for that kind of discussion”—-as if that were written somewhere in the Bible. They’ll tell you that “I’ve never seen a Facebook discussion that was instrumental in changing anybody’s mind”—-all while trying to change YOUR mind about talking politics on Facebook! (Think about that.) They are “thought stoppers”—conversation killers.

Meanwhile, they think they are letting their little lights shine in all this—-that someday the world will see their great, great faith, and will follow them to Jesus—-where THEY don’t have to be like Jesus, either, but merely have to say the words “Jesus is Lord” from time to time, in order to be guaranteed of eternal bliss. And if only they can get YOU to think the same, they’ll have succeeded.

They are worthless citizens. Worthless. Worse than worthless, actually, for they are counterproductive to our society. Irresponsible. Irrational. Freeloaders, not lifting a finger to lift the burden of corruption from the shoulders of the society in which they live.

THAT is exactly the kind of “citizen” I’d want to create if I were the evil wizard behind the curtain. Exactly.

And there are millions of such people here. Millions. And I submit that these people did not get to be like that as the result of following the actual Jesus and the teachings of his authorized apostles and prophets. No, they’ve followed some different masters and have arrived at some different destinations—–destinations that look quite a lot like the emptiness and vanity of the propagandist dictatorial cults across the world.

They are deeply invested in the shallows of vanity. Their greatest works lie in shutting down the great works of others. They think it their job not to fix the society, but to fix the fixers (such that they are fixers no longer). They are, they think, “the light of the world”. And it is in this “light” that our society flounders in such darkness.

Luke 6:46 “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?

Matthew 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.”

Matthew 7:13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.

Mark 8:34 Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.

Most Christians miss the true nature of Jesus’ character. And by quite a long way. They have no idea that he is so radically different from how they are themselves. And I don’t think that this is merely by chance; I think they have been TRAINED to think this way. They are members of large corporations that are in no way authorized by Jesus or the Bible to do what they are doing. They are under the control of leaders they do not even know, and who do not even live among them.

Matthew 7:15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

But if you don’t read and process the scriptures sufficiently, you won’t know the difference between good fruit and bad. And that has a LOT to do with how we have gotten to this point. Mere ignorance of the teachings of Jesus has a great deal to do with it. That, and the unwillingness to be like the man.

Ezekiel 33:31My people come to you, as they usually do, and sit before you to hear your words, but they do not PUT THEM INTO PRACTICE.

Matthew 7:26But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not PUT THEM INTO PRACTICE is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.

John 13:17Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you DO them.

There’s no way that a LOT of these churches aren’t the work of evil wizards behind curtains. If they were the work of Jesus, they’d closely RESEMBLE Jesus in their work.
