Stop to reconsider how it was

God called “Earth”,
He will never
Ever do it

Live a thousand years,
But will go to his grave being
Certain that the story simply must be
About the whole of what we call Planet Earth.
And having missed this detail on Page One,
He blunders through the rest, thinking
Surely he has got it figured right—
More or less—and that God would not
Let him be wrong about anything important.
