This unchristian Christian nation, when it has acted,
Has acted almost always unlike the Christ—
Genocide
Slavery
Incessant and unjust war
Invasion
Empire building
Overthrowing nations
Racism
False money
Lawlessness
Graft
Taxing one to help another
Subterfuge and concealment
And to all this,
She adds the sin of hypocrisy
In counting herself a Christian Nation
And thinking herself honorable
As she continues to vote for people
Who carry on the godlessness.
And she could not endure
For a single day, I imagine,
With Jesus as her President.
She would kill him all over again
In the name of truth, justice, and
The American Way,
And then go right ahead,
Calling herself a Christian nation.
