If the narcissist will deny God himself,
He will surely deny you.
If he will deny direct observation
And fact and logic and sourcing,
He will surely deny you.
If he will deny the track record
Of failures in his own life
And in his own actions,
He will surely deny you.
So if you are surprised by any of this,
Then it’s probably smart to ask whether you
Are in some manner of denial, too.
And whether you are or aren’t,
There’s still this:
Some simply find it shocking
That a person’s disposition could be
So adamantly against the truth,
And that they would expend
So much energy raging against it
And those who speak up for it.
