The whim of the leader
Becomes the very destiny
Of those who follow.
And when it is foolish
It becomes their sentence—
Their torture—
Their agony.
But the fool will not care about their suffering
For he is too enamored with the fact
That he is in charge
To realize how he himself would suffer under
The same foolish whim from some other tyrant.
He will destroy his very kingdom
While reveling under its crown.
