The living human is the absolute master
Of his inner domain—for now.
He will want what he wants
And reject what he rejects,
And no other human can make him
Do otherwise—with either stick or carrot.
For the time being,
He has absolute authority
Over his will.
And this means he can be
As stubborn as he wants—
No matter how idiotic or unconscionable
You or any of the Elohim may find it.
And this is how it’s going to be
Until his time is up, and his spirit
Is turned over to new management.
