Mindware refers to any of various sets of information in the brain that assist us in thinking through various things in a reality-based way. The term is designed to bring to mind the software that enables computers to perform useful functions. Without the proper software installed, the computer simply cannot do those functions. And so with the human who is missing Mindware. For example, a child not knowing Algebra will simply not know what to do with the problem, 2x = 6, while the second-year Algebra student will not only quickly understand the mathematical construction, but solve it.
