To the question:
“Did you ever love your camp more than the truth?”
How shall they plead?
When they are asked:
“Did you ever turn a blind eye to your enemy’s innocence in a matter?”
What will be their answer?
And when it is demanded of them:
“Did you ever charge your enemy with wrongdoing of a sort that you had done yourself?”
Whatever shall they say?
My concern is how they shall escape being condemned
by the very judgments they have made out of their own mouths
during these battles between the camps.
